Day 38

Mount Rushmore, SD

Day 38 of the Walk Of America saw the team back on the road in Rapid City, South Dakota, and ready and raring to go to hit the 400 mile mark. And hit the 400 mile mark they did...! After stepping off from Rapid City, the team made up a few miles downtown, before being transported in the support vehicles up to the iconic Mount Rushmore National Memorial. The team spent their day shaking hands, giving hugs and telling their stories to dozens of people, spreading some much needed awareness for military mental health.

The team were also joined today by Gina, Lauren and Rory from the Biden Foundation - who were there representing our US Patron, Dr Jill Biden.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to meet the team, said hello, had their photos taken alongside them, shared their own stories and donated to the cause. This walk is all about spreading awareness of mental health and raising funds to support those who are still struggling, and today certainly did that. Well done team! Only 600 miles more to go...

Please continue to support our inspiring team along the way. Donate here.
