WWTW's Summer Family Challenge

Maintain your training alongside spending precious time with family by getting involved in WWTW's brand new Summer Family Challenge. Take part in an activity based on the number 10 to celebrate WWTW's 10th anniversary year, such as going for a 10km walk or climbing a local hill 10 times over the summer holidays.

To help keep our supporters active during the summer months, WWTW have launched our first Summer Family Challenge in association with our flagship fundraising event, the Cumbrian Challenge.

Maintain your training alongside spending precious time with family by getting involved in a challenge based on the number 10 to celebrate WWTW's 10th anniversary year. Take your kids/grandchildren/niece/nephew for a 10km walk, climb a local hill 10 times, visit 10 local landmarks, or even go on a scavenger hunt to find 10 objects in your local area (staying within current social distancing guidelines).

Get creative, stay safe and most importantly, have fun!

How can I raise money?

For those taking part in the 2021 Cumbrian Challenge 2021, you can use your personal donations page for your fundraising. The money raised will contribute to your overall fundraising target, helping you and your team smash your target. If you're not taking part in the Cumbrian Challenge, simply set up a fundraiser on Virgin Money Giving, JustGiving or Facebook. It's that simple!

If each participant set themselves and their family a target of only £100 towards their Cumbrian Challenge target, it would raise an incredible £45,000 for WWTW, which would be used immediately to help support those ex-service men and women and their families whose issues can’t be postponed to 2021. We support the families of ex-military as they are a crucial part of each veteran’s wellbeing.

Remember, if you have signed up to the Cumbrian Challenge, you can use you fundraising page to collect your donations. The money raised will contribute to your overall fundraising target, helping you and your team smash your goals.
